$15

these keep the binky attached to the baby, as well as providing fun an entertainment themselves.

born_free_bottle.jpg
$9

good venting system, non-leaky, and bisphenol-a free too. definitely the leading product on the market today.

blue_snuggler.jpg
$20

keeps the little one warm and snuggly, and keeps those pesky little arms from flailing around and waking them up. we called this the "blue snuggler with wings". unfortunately, they only make the "wings" for the newborn size. you may find (like us) that when the little legs get too long for the newborn size, you remove the wings and use them with the next size up.

bouncy_chair.jpg
$40

okay, this thing is hideous. i know that. but it's also magic. it's almost a little worrying at how effective this little wonder is at both entertaining and relaxing little babies. my daughter had alot of fun, and alot of naps in this contraption.

baby_bjorn.jpg
$60

a hard to beat classic. definitely the carrier of choice for the newborn set, but your baby will grow out of it around 7 months of age. the ergo carrier works better for bigger kids, but only if they are willing to face inwards, towards you. my daughter wouldn't have anything to do with that idea.

$39.95

as soon as the little one can control their head, they're ready for one of these gizmos. these chairs are really fun - they let baby sit up and be their own little person.

super_bib.jpg
$6

as far as i can tell, this is literally the only bib out there that can seemingly be washed an endless number of times without any visible wear to either the bib or the velcro. comes in a very wide variety of patterns and themes.

svan_high_chair.jpg
$250

if you're going to splurge on one baby gadget - make it this one. if you're just starting to think about feeding your baby, you don't know it yet . . . but you're going to spend a lot of time bonding with your high chair of choice. and this one is really, really great. it looks nice, it takes up a minimal amount of square footage, and as long as you keep the tray table pushed in snugly against the child you can safely use this chair without fussing with safety straps.

anywhere_chair.jpg
$80

it almost broke our hearts when our daughter finally outgrew her bouncy chair. honestly, can anything be better than a) happy and b) firmly strapped in? happily, we found this chair to replace it, and the result was so cute that we even stopped missing the straps. if you're wondering just how cute, watch this or this

volo_stroller.jpg
$99

i don't think there is any such thing as the "best" toddler stroller. i think it depends alot on the parental style and factors like whether or not your kid naps in their stroller. if you're style is "streamlined" and you want something lightweight, yet bomb-proof, this is the stroller for you. the basket is not large and the seat does not recline, but this stroller weighs less than your average newborn and handles all manner or terrain pretty darn well.
