ladybug, ladybug

the weather on halloween was rather cold and gloomy, and i didn't feel like we'd really adequately documented the ladybug outfit. so, we dragged ava out for one last ladybug photo shoot on a warm, sunny saturday afternoon. we were floored by the extent to which ava seemed to "get" that she was a ladybug and that ladybug's could fly. john gave her a one time demo of "flap your wings like a ladybug" which she would then repeat whenever prompted. see the full gallery
